Surely you are familiar with Google Street View, the technology that allows you to explore places around the world and check out panoramic views from positions along many streets in the world. Easypano’s Panowalker is similar to Google Street View. It is a street view software solution that is capable of turning images (spherical or cylindrical panoramic images) into a realistic walkthrough street view and virtual tour.

The system requirements for running Panowalker are: 800Mhz processor or better, 1GB of RAM or more, 1024x768 resolution or better, OpenGL 1.2 or later, Windows operating system. Panowalker provides support for all Windows versions from Windows XP onward.

You will not have to go through a steep learning curve to get accustomed to the interface. Everything is nicely laid out so you can easily access it. The interface will make it quite easy to access the functionality Panowalker has to offer.

Know what else will make it quite easy to access the functionality Panowalker has to offer? The Panowalker New Project Wizard! It will take you through the following steps:
Step 1 – enter a project name, choose where the project will be saved, select a skin (a list of skins is presented on the left; pick a skin and a preview and a brief description will be presented on the right).
Step 2 – import a map.
Step 3 – import panoramic images. As previously mentioned, Panowalker provides support for spherical or cylindrical panoramic images.

Examples of what can be done with this software application are available in this Panowalker Gallery.

Create a realistic walkthrough virtual tour and impress your friends or potential customers. Panowalker, Easypano’s street view software solution, will help you do precisely that.

Pros

New and old PCs will have no problems meeting this application’s system requirements. You will quickly figure out the interface. There’s a handy Panowalker New Project Wizard. Spherical or cylindrical panoramic images are supported.

Cons

Trial limitations: nag screen, watermark.
